Our annual Symposium is held each March. This day-long event takes place just before our Annual Membership Meeting. The 2024 symposium will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Monroe Community College in Rochester.

Every two years we hold a formal conference for canal advocates across New York State.

The Canal Society hosts regular events at the Samuel Center for Canal History (formerly St. Johns Church) at 38 Rochester St in Port Byron, NY.
