Our annual Symposium is held each March. This day-long event takes place just before our Annual Membership Meeting.
Spend the weekend exploring New York State's hidden (and sometimes not so hidden) Canal gems. 2023 study trips are:
April 23-24, 2023 - including an introduction to the new Samuel Center for Canal History in Port Byron, NY
October 6-8, 2023 - join us to celebrate the bicentennial of the Champlain Canal, visiting sites from Albany to Fort Edward and Hudson Falls, and featuring a performance by the Albany Symphony Orchestra
Every two years we hold a formal conference for canal advocates across New York State.
The 2022 New York State Canal Conference was held October 2-4 in Rochester
